Crescent Crossing’s stained and dichroic glass windows Poesis are inspired by the Energy of Creation. The colors represent visible light’s full spectrum. The spherical shapes within the window’ designs reference the spheres of cosmos, the infinite, wholeness. Set in Graceworks Crescent Crossing’s Wholeness of Life Center the goal for Poesis was to create a space that is spiritually, emotionally and physically uplifting. The opportunity was to create a space serving the dual purpose of chapel for the retirement community’s religious services and auditorium for non-Christian and secular events. To accomplish this, we worked with Graceworks’ executive and religious staff on the windows’ design and the C.C. Hodgson Architectural Group to help shape the space.
